My name is Lavenda Achieng’ Odhiambo, a Kenyan. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Kisii University, Kenya. I am currently enrolled in the ACECoR programme MPhil Blue Economy, Governance and Social Resilience at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
More recently, Blue Economy has become the parlance of the decade - this firmly instils in me a great desire to venture and prosper in this field to foster economic growth while also promoting and advocating for the sustainable use of marine resources. 

I pride myself as a master of professionalism and integrity. Besides, I am a good team player and confident that under the Africa Center of Excellence in Coastal Resilience, I will gain more skills and competencies in my field of interest – the Blue Economy.
