MPhil Blue Economy, Governance and Social Resilience

2022/2023 Academic Year

My name is Sedinam Amenutsuor-Vondee, and I am from Ghana, West Africa. I completed my bachelor's degree in Aquaculture and Water Resource Management at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2021. Currently, I am pursuing an MPhil in Blue Economy, Governance, and Social Resilience through the ACECOR programme. My passion lies in the sustainable management of marine resources while balancing economic benefits.

As the world faces increasing challenges related to the environment, it is critical that we address issues related to the marine environment. Through my studies and work, I am committed to advocating for sustainable practices in the marine industry, including responsible fishing practices and reducing marine pollution, while ensuring that communities that rely on marine resources can still benefit economically.

My academic pursuits, coupled with my passion for the marine environment, drive me to make a positive impact in this field. I am actively seeking opportunities to collaborate with other professionals in this field, attend relevant conferences, and stay up-to-date with the latest research.
