This module will require the application of fishery and biological information for management of fish stocks. It will also examine the causes, types and indices of over-fishing. Various fisheries management strategies (i.e. conventional versus traditional approaches) will be discussed. Students will be introduced to concepts in fisheries economics and entrepreneurship.
