Nicholas Ampofo is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, CIPS UK. He holds an MSc degree in Procurement from the University of South Wales, UK and MBA (Finance) degree from Coventry University, UK. Nicholas also graduated from the University of Cape Coast (UCC) with BEd Social Sciences. Currently, he is the Procurement officer for UCC and serves on the Entity Tender, Minor Works, Congregation Planning, Sendoff and Long Service Awards, and Procurement Advisory Committees among others, within the University. Mr Ampofo's areas of research include public procurement, strategic supply chain management and management. He is the Procurement Officer for the Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR) and has also previously handled procurements for the USAID/UCC Fisheries and Coastal Management Capacity Building Support Project implemented by the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, UV=CC.
