Appointment of Research Assistant – 1 Position


Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment as Research Assistant at the Centre for Coastal Management in respect of the implementation of the Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR) Project at the University of Cape Coast. The job will be a short-term one and will span a maximum of two (2) years, renewable after the first year subject to satisfactory work performance and conduct. The successful applicant will be expected to support field, research work and other related activities of the Centre.

 

A candidate applying for the position must:

  • possess at least a First Degree from a recognized university and in a related field of work of the Centre
  • have completed his/her national service. Even though no prior working experience is required, some working knowledge in the domain of work of the Centre could be an advantage. Females are strongly encouraged to apply
  • pass a screening interview
