Blessing Charuka is a PhD Candidate in Integrated Coastal Zone Management affiliated with the Centre for Coastal Management, Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR), University of Cape Coast. He holds a Master of Science degree in Maritime Affairs from the World Maritime University (Sweden) and a Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Transport (Egypt).
His current research investigates coastal management strategies and coastal infrastructure in Ghana. He has research interests in coastal management strategies, climatic risks to coastal infrastructure, coastal hazards, environmental and socioeconomic impacts, and stakeholder engagement in integrated coastal zone management.
He is a fellow with the Future Earth Coasts (FEC).
