Miss Juliet Afrah Obeng, had her bachelor degree in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Currently, she is pursuing an MPhil in Fisheries Science under a scholarship offer from the World Bank Africa Center of Excellence in Coastal Resilience at the Center for Coastal Management, University of Cape Coast.
She hopes the knowledge generated from this project would help and accelerate the development of rural aquaculture in the country. Juliet aspires to become an expert in fisheries science, contributing to the sustainability of Aquaculture development in the area of academia whilst tackling regional food security.
She is a researcher with great understanding in the biology, demography, socio-ecological and economic importance of marine biodiversity and its involvement in national development.
