Lateef Adesola Afolabi is my name. I started my journey in Oceanography by obtaining a BTech in Marine Science and Technology at The Federal University of Technology, Akure in Nigeria. I recently bagged an MSc in Oceanography and its application at International Chair in Mathematical Physics and its Applications (ICMPA UNESCO-Chair) of the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin (the master program was also co-accredited by the University of Toulouse III Paul Sabatier, France). I have always been open to learning, which made me apply for an MPhil in Oceanography and Limnology.

The exposure I gained from interacting with the professionals and great scholars of this institution will not only improve my academics but also my leadership skills so I can effectively take up key leadership and decision making positions to influence better policies in the nearest future.

This program will also create a good platform for me and equip me with the necessary research experience needed for future PhD studies.
