The Management and staff of ACECoR, since the commissioning of the Multipurpose building in November have occupied and put the building to use, with all staff occupying their allocated office spaces and having meetings in the seminar room as well as having doctorate students occupying their workstations.

The Library, which was stocked by Professors Daniel Pauly and Rashid Sumaila, has been commissioned and open for use by students and staff of the centre and the entire university community.

The GIS lab which is resourced with numerous computers, drones, and other high-end equipment, has been one of the most used resources of the ACECoR Multipurpose building for both academic work and delivering on projects running at the Centre.

The Multipurpose building, resourced with a general lab, a marine litter lab, a seminar room, GIS lab, a communications unit, doctorate workstations, offices, and a kitchenette is a contribution towards achieving the overarching mission and vision of ACECoR.
