Vacancy: Research Assistant (2019/2020 Academic Year)

The Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR) Project will like to apply part of its funding allocation from the World Bank to employ the service a Research Assistant at the Centre for Coastal Management (CCM) at the University of Cape Coast. ACECoR is a multi-year (2019-2024) initiative of the World Bank being implemented in coordination with the Association of African Universities (AAU) and the National Council of Tertiary Education (NCTE). The project is intended to support technical capacity development of young African professionals to address issues of coastal degradation within the sub-region, as well as promote the sustainable utilization and management of marine and coastal assets in the partner countries through collaboration with academia, research institutions and industry, locally and will secure international partnerships.

1. Research Assistant (Academic/Social Sciences - 1 position)

Qualification:

Interested applicants should be graduates with at least a good Bachelors degree in Social Sciences (sociology and geography) and must have completed their national service. Considerable working experience would be an advantage.
