Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience |  University of Cape Coast

Morris V. Nyain was born and raised in Liberia. He experienced half of the 14 years of civil war that was fought in his country. In spite of the many challenges and setbacks from the civil war, he has managed to earn a Bachelor Degree in general Agriculture from the William V.S. Tubman University, Harper City, Maryland County, Liberia.

He is a proud volunteer and has been engaged with local farmers in rural Liberia on how to utilize the improved methods in planting vegetables and rice. He is currently studying MPhil. Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) at the African Centre of excellence in coastal resilience (ACECoR), University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

Upon completing his studies, Morris is expecting to be able to contribute his knowledge in ICZM to help address issues of Coastal Degradation, and other environmentally unfriendly human activities in his country Liberia and Africa at large.
