The Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR) Project will like to apply part of its funding allocation from the World Bank to employ the services of three (3) Research Assistants at the Centre for Coastal Management (CCM) at the University of Cape Coast. ACECoR is a multi-year (2019-2024) initiative of the World Bank being implemented in coordination with the Association of African Universities (AAU) and the National Council of Tertiary Education (NCTE). The project is intended to support technical capacity development of young African professionals to address issues of coastal degradation within the sub-region, as well as promote the sustainable utilization and management of marine and coastal assets in the partner countries through collaboration with academia, research institutions and industry, locally and will secure international partnerships.

Interested applicants should be graduates with at least a good Bachelors degree in the following areas; coastal resources management, fisheries, marine sciences, environmental science, physics, chemistry, mathematics and geography. Considerable working experience would be an advantage.
