Mr. Ekow Attom Prah
Day to day admistration of ACECoR
Mr. Ekow Attom Prah obtained his Bachelor of Management Studies degree from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana in 2006. Mr Prah also obtained his Master of Commerce in Human Resource Management degree from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana in 2014. He was the Founding Administrator of the Centre for Teaching Support, University of Cape Coast. He was the Assistant Registrar in Charge in of Office of the Dean of Students, University of Cape Coast (Aug. 2016 – July 2018). He also served as the Faculty Officer, School of Physical Sciences, University of Cape Coast (Aug. 2018 – April 2019). He has also served as Secretary to the following Board/Committees at the University of Cape Coast: Sports and Recreation Committee, Committee for the 7TH MINI-GUSA, Residence Committee, Heads of Hall Committee, Chaplaincy Committee, Disciplinary Committee for Students, Students’ Emergency Relief Fund (SERF) Committee, Students’ Welfare Assistance Fund (SWAF) Committee, Vetting Committee for SRC/GRASAG/JCRC Elections, Electoral Commission for SRC/GRASAG/JCRC Elections, Students’ Handbook Review Committee, UCC/Private Hostels Committee, Congregation Planning Committee, School of Physical Sciences’ Board, School of Physical Sciences Appointments and Promotions Committee, School of Physical Sciences Examinations Committee and many others.
Currently, he is the Assistant Registrar at the Centre for Coastal Management at the University of Cape Coast. He is also the Secretary to the College of Professors at the University of Cape Coast. His research interests are Strategic Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Project Management, Strategic Management, Compensation and Performance Management, Job Stress, and Employee Productivity. Member of the following: Ghana Association of University Administrators, Human Resource in Higher Education Community (Association of Commonwealth Universities), and International Association of Student Affairs and Services (IASAS). He has passion in Office Administration, Surfing the Internet for Research, Reading and Listening to music.
