The Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR) is Africa's leading higher learning centre dedicated to research and education in the management of coastal areas. ACECoR's primary goal is to train the next generation of coastal scientists and managers, and in effect, build future leaders for the wide spectrum of Africa's emerging blue economy. With a focus on Central and Western Africa, ACECoR offers scholarship opportunities to highly motivated young African nationals with strong research interest to undertake demand-driven and development-oriented research in their home country or anywhere in the sub-Region. Prospective students in other parts of Africa may be considered for ACECoR scholarships based on the quality of their proposed research and motivation to study at ACECoR.
