My name is Anita Boateng Ameyaw. I am from Ghana and I hold a Master’s degree in International Studies in Aquatic Tropical Ecology (ISATEC), from the University of Bremen, Germany. I am currently a student on the ACECoR project pursuing a PhD programme in Integrated Coastal Zone Management at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

My long-term goals include finishing PhD and working for a research institute which is part of a university or with either government on non-governmental research institutes aimed at the protection, conservation and management of the coastal resources.

I am certain that, through the mentorship, I would receive from this programme, I am confident of making an original contribution to knowledge in the field of Coastal Zone Management in Ghana.
