2019/2020
Academic Year
I am Constant Setondé Gnansounou from Benin. I schooled at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (FSA), University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC/Benin). After my Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering in 2013, I completed two Master’s degrees, the first in 2017 in Forest Resource Management (FRM) and the second in 2018 in Monitoring of Aquatic Resources and inland fishery management (MoRAP). My research interests include the integrated management of coastal ecosystems, with a particular focus on mangrove ecosystems. Recently, I am enrolled in an MPhil program in Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) at the World Bank Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR), University of Cape Coast, Ghana. The successful fulfillment of that innovative modular program will build my capacity to appropriately address research question related to Coastal Zone Management in Benin in particular, and in the whole Africa in general.
