In this Module, various lecturers will take students through successful and unsuccessful coastal management cases worldwide. It will be delivered through lecturer-led discussions. Students would discuss and compare the management strategies of the various identified case studies. They will also dwell on good coastal management practices to be replicated and bad practices to be eschewed. Institutional, intergovernmental, community, legal and financial considerations that impacted on the selected cases would be emphasized. This module will be assessed mainly through presentations on the part of the students.
