Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience |  University of Cape Coast

The CCM-UCC proposed to the World Bank for the establishment of a Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR) to address the enormous degradation in the coast of West Africa. The coastal and marine sectors of West Africa contributes to the promotion of sustainable economic development through sustainable coastal resource utilisation in the partner countries. The proposed Centre is to promote coastal resilience within the West African sub-region, through collaboration with industry, private and public institutions both locally and internationally.
