Mr Emmanuel Kwasi Klubi, had his Bachelor Degree in Oceanography and Fisheries from the University of Ghana, Legon, Accra and Master of Philosophy in Nuclear and Radiochemistry-thesis title: Radiometric Dating, Sediment Fluxes and Ecological Studies of Trace metals at Selected Estuaries and Sections of Coastal Waters of Ghana using CRS, Granulometry and Pollution Models, from the University of Ghana, Atomic Campus, Accra, Ghana.
Currently, Emmanuel is pursuing a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Oceanography and Limnology with a propose thesis area in Factors influencing coastal recessing and resilience across the shores of Ghana on a scholarship from the Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience, Centre for Coastal Management, University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast, Ghana.
Emmanuel hopes to make an impact with the knowledge and experience acquired from the PhD programme. The outcome from his research will be made available to the scientific community and for the policymakers to make an informed decision in tackling the coastal issues confronting Ghana the West Africa coastline.
Emmanuel has an appreciable level of knowledge about the entire coastline of Ghana through Coastal Process and Maritime Sensing Programme, and sections of Africa coastline through RAF7015 Programs for Africa.
Emmanuel has co-author scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. He was awarded for emerging as Co-Author of the Best Article titled “Coastal Environment of Ghana”, published in the ESS Magazine 2017 Vol.6, 1, by Ghana Science Association. He is result-oriented, team builder, ability to meet garget, work under little or no supervision and innovative.
