Nanabanyin is a young scientist who is very passionate about the coastal environment and its importance and has developed an interest in its study. He has a bachelor’s degree in Marine and Fisheries Science from the University of Ghana, Legon. He has worked with the Fisheries Commission of Ghana, where he helped in the Fish Stock Assessment and the Marine sector. He is currently a Master of Philosophy in Oceanography and Limnology student, at the Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR) at the Centre for Coastal Management, University of Cape Coast.
Nanabanyin has a good background in Marine and Freshwater Ecology, Limnology, Coastal Geomorphology, Coastal Hydrology and Engineering, Coastal Management, Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and their applications.
He seeks to expand his knowledge in the area of Coastal Geomorphology and further work on research to help reduce and manage coastal issues along the coast.
