Call for Applications to One-Week Professional Courses
Background
The University of Cape Coast (UCC) is partnering with the World Bank under the current phase of the Africa Centres of Excellence (ACE) Impact III Programme to promote coastal resilience within the West and Central African sub-regions. By the establishment of the Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR) at the Centre for Coastal Management, UCC seeks to support the development of technical and scientific capacity of young African professionals to advance integrated solutions in addressing coastal degradation through short- to long-term professional and academic training programmes. The primary focus of the ACECoR is capacity building for the advancement of sustainable use and management of marine and coastal assets in the partner countries. This is expected to be achieved in collaboration with academia, research institutions and industry, through local and international partnerships.
