Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience |  University of Cape Coast

On Monday 30th May 2022, the Chief of Party for Ghana Fisheries Recovery Activity (GFRA) Heather D'Agnes paid a visit to the Centre for Coastal Management-Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (CCM-ACECoR) to familiarise herself with the activities of the centre and also explore opportunities for future collaborations.

The meeting saw the Director for CCM-ACECoR, Professor Denis W. Aheto giving the Chief of Party a brief overview of the history, activities, interests, and objectives of the centre, while, an opportunity was given to all research theme leads of the centre to do the same for their respective themes (Read about research themes  here https://acecor.ucc.edu.gh/research/research-themes)

Heather also gave a brief overview of the GFRA indicating their interests and objectives as well, and was excited about the growth and capacity of CCM-ACECoR and looked forward to having further conversations on possible collaborations.
